January 7th 2021
Last evening (January 6th) the Irish Government announced that Ireland is entering a Full Level 5 Lockdown, in order to combat the increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases. These measures have been taken in order to try and stop the spread of the virus and to save lives. As a consequence of this Government directive, The Exam Centre has no option but to close all centres with immediate effect until February 1st 2021 (at the earliest). We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience but it is necessary in order to protect our staff and you the exam taker.
So how does this affect your exam?
If you booked your exam directly with The Exam Centre we will, of course, reschedule it for you (for a date after January 31st subject to Government guidelines). Please send an email to email@example.com with your preferred rescheduled date and time and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
If your exam was booked as part of an online course we will co-ordinate with your course provider and come back to you as soon as possible.
If you booked your exam directly with PearsonVue / PSI, Kryterion or Webassessor you will need to contact them directly. We have informed them of the current increased restrictions and they should be able to reschedule your exam for you. They are currently reaching out to all affected exam candidates to help them reschedule.
If your exam is a PearsonVue Select or PearsonVue PTE Exam you need to contact PearsonVue on 1800 552 131 to reschedule.
Again we apologise for this inconvenience.
Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
On Wednesday, December 30th the Irish Government moved Ireland to a full Level 5 Lockdown. As The Exam Centre is deemed part of the educational sector, we have no option but to close our centres until Monday, January 11th. Unfortunately, and as a consequence of this closure, exams will not now go-ahead for the week January 4th 2021 to January 9th 2021 inclusive, and for this, we sincerely apologise.
If you originally booked your exam directly with The Exam Centre please advise us by email when you would like to have your exam rescheduled to, and we will take care of it for you.
If you booked your exam directly with PearsonVUE or Pearson PTE you will need to contact them directly if they have not already reached out to you to reschedule your exam, as unfortunately, we are not able to make these changes for you.
If you would like to contact us email firstname.lastname@example.org as we are not in the office to answer calls over this holiday period.
Following the Governments announcement this evening in relation to Level 5 restrictions, as an educational service all our Exam Centres will remain open.
Please note the new safety protocols being implemented here
